Heavyweight boxing titans David Haye and Dereck Chisora were separated by metal gates at the press conference announcing their Upton Park bout. The conference passed peacefully compared with the last time the two came face to face in Munich. Haye vs Chisora tickets are on sale exclusively on Eventim UK now. The fight takes place at West Ham United's Upton Park on Saturday the 14th of July.

Boxing returned to the historic Royal Albert Hall with a bang after 13 years when Billy Joe Saunders destroyed Tony Hill in an eye-watering 30 seconds to win the Vacant Commonwealth Middleweight title. Chief support on the card saw Sam Webb win his Final Eliminator for the British Light-Middleweight title when he defeated Matthew Hall on points.

James DeGale conquered in Denmark last night, stopping Cristian Sanavia in the fourth round to retain his European Super-Middleweight title. The Harlesden southpaw surprised the Italian in the second by turning orthodox and by the third was picking off the shorter Sanavia with his longer reach.

Scottish hero Ricky Burns made the first successful defence of his WBO World Lightweight title on Saturday night against the tough African challenger Paulus Moses. In front of sold-out crowd of 6,000 fans at the Braehead Arena, Burns had to work hard against the former WBA World Champion who had only lost once in 29 fights.
