Ricky Burns sensationally stopped Kevin Mitchell in the fourth round to retain his WBO World Lightweight championship at the SECC in Glasgow on Saturday night. Once again the fighting pride of Scotland was on peak form, stamping his authority from the start with a brisk jab which quickly reddened the challenger’s face.
