Job Overview 
Queensberry Promotions are one of the worlds leading sports promotional organisations. The core activity of the business is staging Boxing events around the world that are broadcast live through an exclusive long term agreement with BT Sport. In addition, we mange a stable of circa 70 leading professional boxers and have a well established online presence. We are currently seeking to strengthen our media team with a full time videographer to help strengthen the product across our channels. 


The position is responsible for capturing and editing a wide variety of content for all media platforms. This involves filming feature pieces in gyms, promotional shoots, capturing fight footage, filming and editing multi-camera interviews, content and much more. The role is encouraged to go beyond camera operation and editing and to also contribute creative ideas and direction. 


The person who fulfils the role is expected to have their own equipment and be ready to start immediately.

Responsibilities: 
1. Create compelling short sizzle videos for fights and also longer form promos for events and individual fights.      

2. Must be social media savvy and be prepared to upload content across multiple channels and prepare content in multiple forms.

3. Multi-task at live events from capturing footage of fighters in the build up to their fights to holding cameras for post fight interviews across Queensberry social channels and then uploading content

4. Be able to create content which resonates with a boxing audience.

5. Works closely with the rest of the content team, taking direction but also bringing fresh ideas.

6.  Create high-end visual styles using lighting and camera techniques for high-profile shoots in field and studio settings.

7. Shoots for a wide array of projects, from long-form documentaries, interview shows and multi camera interviews to short form social media pieces.

8. Work an irregular schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, often with extensive travel.

9.  Travel to gyms and sets around the UK to get content with Queensberry’s stable of boxers.

10. Attend every Queensberry boxing event and media event to capture content under the direction of the content team.

Skills & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

2. Minimum 3 years’ professional experience shooting and editing a wide variety of content for all media platforms, in both field and studio environments.

3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

4.  Must be knowledgeable about the latest cinematography techniques and visual trends.

5.  Strong organisational skills and attention to detail required.

6. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.

7.  Must be discreet and trustworthy with access to sensitive information and projects.

8.  Must have working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Final Cut and be able to turn around projects efficiently.

9.  Experience with working for an agency, post-production company, or broadcast creative team is a plus.

10.  Sports cinematography experience a plus.

11.  Knowledge of boxing is a plus.

Digital Executive

In addition, we mange a stable of circa 70 leading professional boxers and have a well established online presence. We are currently seeking to strengthen our media team with a full time videographer to help strengthen the product across our channels. 

The position is responsible for running the Queensberry social media channels day to day under the guidance of the Head of Media. This involves the ability to edit videos, manipulate images and work within pre-designed graphic templates. This person must be on top of social media trends and have a creative eye. It is also expected that the person who fulfils this role has basic CMS skills and is able to keep the official Queensberry website updated and tidy.

This is a junior role ideal for somebody in their first or second job in the digital and sports space.

Roles and Responsibilities
Run the Queensberry social media channels day to day and on fight night under the guidance of the Head of Media.

Schedule social media posts under the guidance of Head of Media.

Edit and upload videos to social media and Youtube.

Upload stories and press releases to the website.

Ability to work within pre-designed photoshop templates.

Stay on top of latest boxing news and trends concerning Queensberry boxers and ensure QP social pages are reacting.

Qualifications and requirements
A degree in communication, marketing or social media.

Live within commutable distance to Turnford, Hertfordshire.

Excellent working knowledge across social media platforms Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snap.

Must be a boxing fan with a good working knowledge of the sport.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Must be flexible and be able to multi-task. 

Previous experience working in the digital and social media space.
