LERRONE RICHARDS WPTS4 (60-54) V ANTHONY FOX

Slick New Malden Super-Middleweight Lerrone Richards opened the evening’s action with a controlled 60-54 points win over Westbury’s Anthony Fox. The undefeated southpaw has sparred the likes of WBO Middleweight king Billy Joe Saunders, George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr so far in his 7-0 career and looks to be growing in confidence with every fight.

6 X 3 Minute Rounds Featherweight Contest
LUCIEN REID WPTS6 (60-54) V MICHAEL MOONEY

‘Lethal’ Lucien Reid moved to 6-0 with a solid win over Worcester’s Michael Mooney. Now trained by Adam Booth, the Ilford man controlled the contest by moving well, digging in and unleashing hard body shots with both hands. Mooney threw back when he could but 23-year-old Reid came away winning every round.

4 X 3 Minute Rounds Super-Lightweight Contest
BEN SMITH WPTS4 (40-53) V YOUSEF AL HAMIDI

Wycombe’s Ben Smith cruised to his fifth straight win in a row with a straightforward four round victory at Super-Lightweight over the experienced journeyman Youssef Al Hamadi. Smith is trained by Mark Tibbs alongside Frank Warren stablemate Sammy McNess at the famous Peacock Gym in Canning Town.

6 X 3 Minute Rounds International Super-Featherweight Contest
BOY JONES JNR WPTS6 (60-54) V NORBERT KALUCSA

Hugely-popular Chingford Super-Featherweight Boy Jones Jnr overcame the disappointment of losing his Southern Area strap to Craig Poxton with a comfortable decision against Hungary’s Norbert Kalucsa. Jones, now 12-1, moved through the gears and looked good throughout the contest. Kalucsa was game and never looked in danger of being stopped.
6 X 3 Minute Rounds Lightweight Contest
MITCHELL SMITH WPTS6 (59-54) V LEE CONNELLY

Harrow Lightweight Mitchell Smith laboured to a difficult decision against Lee Connelly at the Copper Box Arena. The supremely talented Smith is another Frank Warren fighter trained by Adam Booth and will undoubtedly improve under his guidance. Connelly has now lost five on the bounce with the referee scoring it 59-54.

6 X 3 Minute Rounds International Super-Featherweight Contest
ARCHIE SHARP WTK03 (1:31) V TAMAS LASKA

Explosive Welling Super-Featherweight prospect Archie Sharp continued to impress with another wicked stoppage win over familiar Hungarian Tamas Laska. 22-year-old ‘Sharpshooter’ marked up his eighth straight win when he dropped his opponent with a punishing body shot half way through the third.

4 X 3 Minute Rounds Flyweight Contest
SUNNY EDWARDS WTKO3 V GYULA DODU

‘Showtime’ Sunny Edwards began life under the Frank Warren banner in perfect style, stopping Hungarian Gyula Dodu in the third round of a scheduled four round Flyweight contest. Edwards had to be patient as he was the final contest of an action-packed evening, but closed the show in impressive fashion.

6 X 3 Minute Rounds Super-Lightweight Contest
SANJEEV SAHOTA WTKO3 (2:25) V  STEVE BACKHOUSE

Sikh sensation Sanjeev Singh Sahota moved to 7-0 (3 KOs) with his second stoppage win at Stratford’s Copper Box Arena. Hornchurch’s Sahota scored an impressive first round TKO on his debut at the same venue back in 2016 and picked up where he left off from with a third round stoppage win over Manchester’s Steve Blackhouse.
