The swashbuckling super middleweight Parker faces the biggest test of his career against the stylish American, known as Boo Boo, who will be fighting outside of his homeland for only the second time in his 31-fight professional career.

Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren sought to give his man every advantage in his bid to join the elite band of fighters by winning a competitive purse bid process and then delivering on a promise to fulfil a lifelong dream of Parker by staging the fight in front of his fellow fans at the home of Derby County FC.

“It is going to be such a special occasion for Zach and the people of Derby,” said promoter Warren, who has guided some 149 fighters to world title success across his 40-plus years in the professional boxing business.

“It promises to be a spectacular event and it will be an emotional experience for Zach to be roared on by the Derby public who he sits alongside cheering on the Rams. Zach can use the power and emotion of the crowd to his advantage and he will need to be at his very best to overcome an unbeaten world champion like Andrade.”
