HITMAN COX TARGETS HAT-TRICK OF FIRST ROUND KO’S BY BEATING ALBERT

Big-hitting super-middleweight ace Jamie Cox is aiming for a hat-trick of first round knockouts when he takes on Ferenc Albert in the first defence of his WBO European title.

The unbeaten Swindon star headlines the Harrow Leisure Show on Friday 30th October and is riding a two fight KO streak with both fights ending in the first round.

Hitman Cox, 29, aims to dispose of Albert in quick time as he rises up the world rankings and eyes a showdown with WBA king Fedor Chudinov.

Tough Romanian born and Hungary based Ferenc is on a ten-fight unbeaten run and will be looking to inflict the first loss to Cox’s record.

168-pound dangerman Cox has been well avoided by the likes of Chris Eubank Jnr., Gary O’Sullivan, Gilberto Ramirez; former European Champion Christopher Rebrasse, Blake Caparello and Rohan Murdoch.

“It’s the hat-trick of first round KOs I’m after and Ferenc could well go early,” Said Cox.

“I’m in great shape, I’m fighting regularly again and I’m punching hard, I’m in a great place right now so that will show in my performances,”
