‘Slick’, ‘smooth’ and ‘classy’ are all words easily associated with British Welterweight Champion Bradley Skeete (26-1). He somehow packs 147lbs into a lean 6’1″ frame and tends to dominate fights with his jab and keeps opponents on the back foot.

Skeete is also known as one of the nicest, most amiable fighters in the sport today. It therefore came as a surprise in the build up to the second defence of his British Title against Shayne Singleton that he was involved in a heated face off at the weigh in. This led to his first ‘HEATED’ video on the popular boxing YouTube Channel ‘IFL TV’.

The ill tempered weigh in lead to an equally heated and entertaining 5 rounds on June 2nd at the Brentwood Centre. Skeete demonstrated a new found aggression and after dropping Singleton twice already, was able to put his foot on the gas and get the stoppage win.

This camera angle perfectly captured the aggression in the champion’s demeanor as he unleashed a powerful combination with his opponent on the ropes.

Bradley Skeete will have the opportunity to win his British title outright on July 8th at the Copper Box Arena LIVE on BT Sport and BoxNation when he defends against Dale Evans. Can he continue his new found aggressive streak before moving on to world level?
