Make sure you’re at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday 12th March when one of the world’s greatest boxing stars Guillermo Rigondeaux makes his exciting British debut on the biggest show of the year.
Former Unified World Super-Bantamweight Champion Rigondeaux features on ram-packed show headlined by the mouthwatering showdown between WBO World Lightweight Champion Terry Flanagan and challenger Derry Mathews.
Fights fans will be clamouring to see live in action the undefeated Cuban sensation, who Britain’s Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg both avoided, when he takes on Liverpool hero Jazza Dickens who’s looking to cause a major upset and defeat Rigondeaux.
Rigondeaux said, “I’m looking forward to making my British debut at a time where there is great boxing in Europe, especially in my division. I’m excited to come out and give my best and deliver a world-class performance to the fans. Fans should come see the real super world champion in Liverpool, as I’ll be ready to put on a show.”
Also confirmed for the show is another of the world’s top fighters Zolani Tete, the former IBF World Super-Flyweight Champion, from South Africa who returns to Britain to show off his big-hitting skills again.
British stars Tommy Langford, Paul Butler and Matty Askin all feature in championship title action, plus a top class line-up with talents Kevin Satchell, Tom Stalker, Steven Lewis, Ryan Farrag, Macaulay McGowan, Zelfa Barrett, Vijender Singh and Lyon Woodstock.
